About Us
All Village Singers Chorus is going into its 32th year. Originally we were called the Wilmette Chorus. From 1979 to 2006, we were under the baton of Bev Mortenson. We now go into our fifth year under the baton of Dr. Ingrid Lestrud. We continue to exist as an important component of the arts community on the North Shore.
Membership
We are a non-profit group, with support from the Illiinois Arts Council. To cover costs of music, instrumentalist and our director, we do ask a nominal dues of $40.00 for Spring and $35 for Holiday.
Holiday Caroling
Rehearsals for the 2011 season has begun. Caroling "gigs" usually begin just before Thanksgiving through Dec. 19. We have great fun singing around the North Shore. Call about singing with us.
Spring Show
Rehs for 2012 show TBA early March from 7:15 to 9:30 pm. This spring's performance will took place on Fri., June 17 and Sat., June 18, at 8:00 pm.
2011 performances were held at the Skokie Theater at 7924 N. Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL 60077.
