About Us
All Village Singers Chorus is celebrating its 30th year. Originally we were called the Wilmette Chorus. From 1979 to 2006, we were under the baton of Bev Mortenson. We now go into our fourth year under the baton of Ingrid Lestrud. We continue to exist as an important component of the arts community on the North Shore.
Membership
We are a non-profit group, with support from the Illiinois Arts Council. To cover costs of music, instrumentalist and our director, we do ask a nominal dues of $37.00 per season.
Holiday Caroling
Rehearsals for the 2010 season tba in October from 7:15 to
9:30 pm. Caroling "gigs" usually begin the 3nd or 4th week of November.
Spring Show
Rehearsals began Tuesday, March 9, 2010, from 7:15 to
9:30 pm. Performances were Sunday, June 13th at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
Performances were held at the Skokie Theater at 7924 N. Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL 60077.
