The All-Village Singers exists to provide musical enjoyment for its members by singing together, and for the community by performing. We are family! Please join us to sing four-part harmony. We rehearse rigorously and socialize regularly. We strive to present concerts of high quality and to continue improving this quality. While strong friendships develop, the group warmly welcomes newcomers.

We function as an amateur, non-profit organization of about 35 men and women under the direction of a Board of Directors, which includes a professional music director, Beverly Mortensen. Although we are affiliated with the Glencoe Park District, in Glencoe, Illinois, we welcome members from all the North Shore towns and villages, as well as Chicago.

We invite women and men from 16 to 96 to join us. Most have choral singing experience, but enjoy our no auditions policy. Forget the "usual and customary"...we sing interesting and unique arrangements of many types of music, including pop, jazz, and show tunes. Join our friendly group and stretch your voice and imagination in harmonious music.

The AVS rehearses on Tuesday evenings 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Glencoe Community Center, 999 Green Bay Road, Glencoe, IL. We do not rehearse in the summer.  See the schedule page for more information.
