"A Performing Arts Chorus"
The All Village Singers Chorus exists to provide musical enjoyment for its members by singing together, as well as performing for the Chicagoland area and Northshore community. We are a 4-part male and female performing arts choral group. We strive to present musical programs of high quality to thoroughly entertain our audiences.
We function as a non-profit organization under the direction of a Board of Directors. Our professional Music Director is Dr. Ingrid Lestrud. Rehearsals take place in Glencoe, IL, with members from the entire Chicagoland area. Performances are at the Skokie Theater in Skokie. All singers are welcome...anyone from age 18 to seniors. Choral singing experience is a plus, but there is a no-audition policy.
We do holiday caroling and a Spring Show in June. Forget the
"usual and customary"-we sing interesting and unique arrangements of pop, jazz and show tunes. Join our friendly group...stretch you voice and imagination in harmonious music and exciting productions.
